Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC)

All articles published in Research Sustainability are freely available to readers under full open access, with the Article Processing Charge (APC) covered by authors or their institutions. An article processing charge (APC) of $500 USD will be imposed on all papers accepted post-peer review. This cost facilitates long-term archiving, editing, typesetting, peer review, and journal administration.

Upon acceptance, we immediately dispatch invoices to the authors' specified payment contact. Only invoices from Pathfinder (pathfinderpub.com) are deemed legitimate. We alone have the authority to collect the APCs. Pathfinder is the exclusive service provider; it has no responsibility for the acts of others.

Expedited Publication: Following peer review, authors obtain an initial verdict on their submissions within 30 days, and if accepted for publication, the process is completed within 7 days (median values for articles published in this journal).

Recognition of Reviewers: Reviewers who deliver comprehensive and prompt peer-review reports are compensated with vouchers that grant them a discount on the advance payment for their next publication in any of Pathfinder's journals.
